The marketing mix (sometimes also known as the 4Ps) typically consists of the product (its quality, features and benefits), price (its cost and value to the customer), place (including delivery and distribution channels for the items) and promotion (including point of sale, public relations and advertising). For services the marketing mix can also include the presentation and reputation of the staff delivering the service.
